The Cinnah Street is one of the elegant roads of Ankara, at which some of the embassies, modern residential buildings, banks and restaurants are located. At the upper part -as can be seen in the photo- one side of the street belongs to the Botanic Park of Ankara.

The street carries the name of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founding leader of Pakistan, who had inspired from the Kemalist revolution in shaping his country. He can also be considered as one of the pioneers of the longstanding friendship ties between Turkey and Pakistan.

Now i wonder, is there any street named of M.Kemal Ataturk in Pakistan?

Yes there is..
My office is on that road.. it is an important link road as well as home to lots of offices.

Good to know that Mr. Jinnah is recognized outside of this country brother 'tor wena'.

BTW why do WE still use English words like 'avenue' in official parlance? jaada or shahrah could've suited well.

Cinnah Caddesi, which is named after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. The “C” in the Turkish alphabet is pronouced like the “J” in the English Alphabet, thus Cinnah = Jinnah. Caddesi means avenue in Turkish.

Turkey and Pakistan enjoy very strong relations and its been that way for a very long time. In fact, whenever I tell Turks that I’m of Pakistani descent, they almost always mention the Turkish-Pakistani brotherhood. Here is a monument to the founder of Pakistan, in Ankara, the Capital of Turkey:

I pass on that ave almost everyday. The embassies of Canada, India, Afghanistan are also located there. It's a major protocol road. Also a good place for a walk with your loved ones ;I pass on that ave almost everyday. The embassies of Canada, India, Afghanistan are also located there. It's a major protocol road. An upscale residential area in Lahore is named after Ataturk, in the Garden Town Area. I used to live just close by and had a number of friends there.
