At what cost. Even if you start a war there's no way you can sustain an offensive into india, eventually you'll have to retreat after suffering from counterattacks from superior indian mechanised formations and artillery. Then you'll be forced to fall back across the IB and hold a defensive stance. All I see is a stalemate with Pakistan suffering massive casualties and going bankrupt to sustain a war against a much more powerful nation than itself. Instead of trying to fight a war , shouldn't we develop our countries first ? Especially when we consider that yours has half the per capita GDP of ours.Pakistan can afford a war with India.
It has , but the question is do they want total war or are satisfied with small border skirmishes.China also has interests in Kashmir as well.
Pakistan will be out of the game the day it enters it. Some analysts say that we should threaten Pakistan with massive artillery and nuclear strikes the day it thinks of entering a war with india. It's in Pakistan's best interest to not get involvedIndia cannot defeat the combined might of Pakistan and China.
It was a blunder.Kargil wasn't a complete blunder,
"IF" is the key word here. That if never materialised.if executed properly with political will to back it up, and if all three branches were involved, we had IOK life line under our direct Arty fire.
