Thats why he is a drill instructor, he probably trains noobs all the time so he is used to it

Begs the question of how far did he got with dummy munitions, if any, before this live round.

Also take note that unlike the movies, the real thing does not have the spectacular fireball.

One thing I don't get is where the hell did the grenade bounce back from? What did it hit? I couldn't make it out in the video.

Also yes the recruit looked nervous, maybe he knew he was being filmed.

I would guess a tree or a post of some sort? Don't think it showed up in the video.

Uh no, you just have to have decent training and instinct. These kinds of things come natural afterwards.
