Chinese Government to regulate Reincarnation

Occam's razor is simply a posit that if an observation can be explained by many plausible explainations, the simplest one is more likely to be the correct one.

Correct. Which is why the idea of the earth moving around the sun in an elliptical orbit is preferred to the complex Greek model.

Science is about testable results, a theory must be testable in order to be considered useful to science. How would one test reincarnation with an scientific experiment?

Science is not necessarily about deliberately conducted tests - it is about observations. For example, one can make observations about stellar evolution, but one cannot set up a test.

No I think you may have your information wrong here. Our current model of the solar system comes about through extensive theorizing and testing. It's been an on-going process from Newton and the earliest telescopes to orbiting probes and radio telescopes.

Simply put the Greek model was rejected based on evidence and tests not because it is more complicated.

Again not really, we fit theory to observations. Experiments are done to obtain new observations.

Reincarnation is not scientific if it cannot be tested. Also what existing observations would lead someone to think reincarnation does exist?

Let's not generalize I really want to hear how we're suppose to test reincarnation with an experiment.

Reincarnation is true or false?
That is not important! Important that we should not believe it.

When we do not believe in reincarnation, even if we were wrong, we would not have lost.
When we believe in reincarnation, if we were wrong, we will lose the happy life.

Whether who believes what is not important. I want to know how reincarnation is scientific.

There are two factors at play - how well the model fits the observations and how "simple" the model is.

The progression was Greek geocentric -> Copernican heliocentric (circular orbits) -> Galilean Heliocentric (elliptical orbits) -> current model, which can take into account general relativistic effects. But that may well not be the end of the story.

Observations are what count, whether they come from deliberately conducted experiments or otherwise.

As regards reincarnation, observations such as young child with past memories, fluently speaking a completely different language, without having had any chance to learn it (in the present life) would be very suggestive.

Past memories can come from number of different source. These are well document by science and have physiological and psychological basis to them.

and as for a child with fluency, one would have to examine this case by case.
