All Chinese medical experts ask the public to wear masks, I'd rather believe the Chinese expers than western ones in this regard, WHO experts all wore surgical masks when they were touring China as well.

Doctors all wear masks in China and they don't have terminal disease, calm down, it's ok for you not to wear masks, it's people's own choices.

They have to because masks protect from other deseases, its just not very effective on corona virus which makes mask hoarding not only unnesseary but also unethical since you take away masks from people who need them more.

We didn't find that problem, masks helped China bring the virus under control in a relatively short span of time.

The CCP has nationalized 3M and others facilities in China according to media reports.

Of course if used correctly N95 mask is very effective but 80% of the general population don't know how to use it correctly and hence its ineffective - wasted.

Sorry this is misleading. The basic masks you refer to have limited function in stopping virus - they will catch sneezes and coughs but will not stop virus airborne spread. It is unlikely that masks alone slowed the spread of covid. It is more likely that other behaviour undertaken by the mask wearers (because such individuals are probably more concerned and cautious and hence act in a sensible way) contributed to reduced spread.

That is what the nurse was saying the hospital masks were running low on the masks they use: surgical masks, etc. Dust and other masks, the nurse did not care about.
