Chinese EVs Are A Big Threat To Western Automakers Because People Can Actually Afford Them

And there is that , the real issue.. West carmakers , including their slaves (japs and koreans) cant make EV in affordable price because they have no source of raw material and not enough technically capable people to make one. Even Tesla was almost bankrupt until china offers a helping and and thus Tesla was saved by china.

Japs and Korean car makers will be gone in few years as they cant compete and their cars also overpriced and they cant sell it in their own countries due to lack of internal market

china have big internal market that will sustain these car production without export

China helped Tesla because China's domestic EV makers were failures when it came to creating a product for the world stage while Tesla was successful.

Even to this day Chinese EV makers have had limited success outside of China.

the level of stupidity from these indian posters pretending to be americans are so silly , when the whole EU and US cowed in fear of the success of china EV cars due to their price and quality..

but it is GREAT to have fools like these fake americans (aka indians with american flag profile) , because they exposed the fake news / lies to everyone who got objective brain still intact. Only sheeps and useful idiots/fools believe all the sinophobic fake news generated by troll farms in india

Tesla is an overpriced chimera okay. ByD makes affordable cars.

Tesla has lots of bad news coming recently, are you blind? China controls the whole global EV supply chain, even you beloved Tesla is totally dependent on the Chinese supply chain.

BYD is just one of so many Chinese EV makers.

@Abdul Rehman Majeed
Since you were the last doubter now you have to "pay it forward" by straightening out the above guy.
He's Chinese..so expect him to be more impossible than even you. The shoe is now on the other foot.

🤔 kind of liking this idea.

First off BYD was selling cars even before Tesla opened up its first factory so if anything BYD has finally gotten its act back together after a long drought from the global throne.

BYD was poised to make the history books as the Chinese car company that shifted the world paradigm from internal combustion to 100% EVs.

But it didn't work out that way. Elon Musk gets all the credit.

..and yet another prize...

These Are The 3 Best Selling Cars In The World 2023

Coming out on top is Tesla’s relatively new Model Y compact SUV, showing the dominance of both electric vehicles and taller ride heights.

Do you know everything change over time? Even Tesla is totally dependent on China's supply chain and Chinese EVs grow faster than their competitors year on year is a known fact, are you trying to deny it?

You mean Tesla Shanghai is fully dependent upon China's supply chain.
That's the whole point of the Chinese government as to why they require companys to build cars there to get around the import tariffs.
Are you trying to deny that somehow?

Tesla in Berlin also needs to import batteries because their battery factory is not up and running yet.

Tesla in the US mostly uses batteries from Japanese/Korean battery makers.
If they were imported from China the prices would zoom up by $6,500 because it isn't local.

Are you trying to deny that somehow?

If 40% is not dependent, then Tesla is not dependent on Chinese supply chain

That 40% is not surprising at all as I just mentioned Tesla Shanghai is using local batteries and Tesla Berlin is importing batteries from mostly China until a local battery manufacturing facility is done.

The crazy worldwide success of Tesla EVs has exceeded both car their production capacity but also their battery capacity.

Do you deny Tesla has achieved more worldwide success than BYD?

The worlwide success of Tesla EVs has exceeded production capacity.
So it's dependence on the China supply chain, deny it as you will, we both know China controls the global EV supply chain.

Well apparently using that logic it just shows the complete technical incompetence of the dozens and dozens of Chinese EV companies (other than BYD) who can't even compete with Tesla on their own turf since Tesla I believe is outselling them all.

Do you deny the incompetence of all those Chinese companies if what you are saying is correct?

BYD already beat Tesla and other Chinese brands are also close in, are there any other US brands in this race other than Tesla? which is also large dependent on the Chinese supply chain.
