Chinese company forces employees to crawl on the street

Even for China this cant be company policy.
Im sure a supervisor or low tier manager made them do this, what a sadist.

thats disgusting and inhumane
Don,t they have employee protection laws overthere?

Unfortunately I think it shows that the employment market is still so tight that people will demean themselves in order to keep their jobs.

This certainly doesn’t sounds like a favorable situation to be in as an employee. I always thought “exploitation of workers” was a top tenet Communists/Socialists railed against.

The great karl marx sacrificed a lot for the betterment of workers and labour class but it looks like these chinese communists are destroying his values.

Actually, it shows the Chinese character and their propensity to be absolutely servile to whoever is above them in the food chain.

I can understand exploitation in a foreign country because those guys are often at the mercy of their employers. But if people try and pull such stunts in your own country and you oblige you just lack a backbone.

I'm sure there are laws on the books in China to prevent things like this but the actual enforcement of them is a different matter. This company got in trouble due to high publicity...otherwise they were probably crawling passed police officers who didn't even give it a second thought.
