Yes, I got it but the question is, if there is a direct pipeline from Turkmenistan to China and Turkmenistan and Iran are connected by pipeline, then why Chinese are looking for another pipelines through mighty Karakorum mountains, seems more like wastage of money.
We have already got the "Central Asia-to-China Gas Pipeline" from Turkmenistan... that will allow us to get all the resources we need from Central Asia.
The land link from Pakistan to China though, is a much bigger deal. Why?
Because Gwadar port is situated right at the mouth of the Persian gulf, where much of the world's oil comes from. This allows us to bypass the sea-route (which is long and risky) for a very quick method over land. This works not just for oil, but also for products that we import and export via both pipelines and rail links.

Fair point, but why would China need another pipeline from Iran thru Pakistan to make use of the land link thru Karakoram?
For that you are making railway lines and gas pipelines can't be used to transport oil. When China can get gas directly from Iran through central Asian pipelines, why is it wasting money for another pipeline in mightly Karakorum mountains.

The reason is a bit too obvious ... Because of the massive demand , there isn't enough supplyYes, I got it but the question is, if there is a direct pipeline from Turkmenistan to China and Turkmenistan and Iran are connected by pipeline, then why Chinese are looking for another pipelines through mighty Karakorum mountains, seems more like wastage of money.
