China to build railway station for Pakistan near border.
In an alarming development, Pakistan has begun constructing a zero line railway station, which is just 10 metres from the international border adjoining Munabao, a village in Rajasthans Barmer district.
According to a report in an Indian newspaper, the material required for construction has already been dumped at the spot. A Chinese company is said to have been given the construction contract.
As per international rules, construction is banned within 150 yards of an international border. Clearly, Pakistan has flouted the international rules.
Madho Singh Chauhan, Deputy Inspector General (Barmer section), revealed that the Border Security Force (BSF) has objected to the preparations for construction and has submitted a protest letter to the Pakistani Rangers.
