It's earth village age now. There are huge number of Chinese who visit other countries every year. You think I know nothing about what it is like to live abroad?

”好山好水好无聊“ ------That's how some Chinese immigrants feel about other countries. In English: too beautiful, too clean, too bored.

I understand but until you do it, you don't have the experience and anyway, visiting for a few days is not the same as staying there for a while, that's when you start to know / understand how life is in another country.

You missed the point. The Chinese aren't "illegally" crossing into America and using her welfare system without paying Taxes. When one Chinese family migrates to the US, to get legal documentation, they have to put in half a million into the US economy by buying businesses, etc, which then provide at least 10 Americans a job (I think the number may be more, but don't quote me, check the CIS site for correct information). So the Chinese come here, create work for themselves and for other Americans. Mexicans, just work illegally (the ones that are without documents), don't pay taxes and use US's healthcare and school system and the justice system, causing a huge burden on the country.

Not necessarily true. My wife didn't have any money when she came here. She did have a PhD.

Right now without a PhD or skilled migration ... as far as i saw, spending 500,000 USD the Chinese family(three persons) can immigrate to U.S, that's EB5 investment immigration + 70,000 USD apply fee.

You don't understand how it works because you have never been there. Its not just living expenses or income. Many rich chinese choose to go there. Its many, many things that are different. You will never understand until you have the experience of going abroad for sometime. Going to another country (any country) its always an eye opening experience.

I don't think there is a big difference as regards living standard between US and China. Our daily expense is cheaper. I can afford a middle class car with my 6 months salary.

Don't listen to that fake spanish Vietnamese who is Vietnamese and not spanish. I live in the west and this is the truth. Most people's high living standards here are financed through cheap credit, ie borrowing rates are quite cheap. So you borrow and you use the money to buy your cars, etc and most of the time people just pay the interest portion of the loan not even the principle. In a way people are using debt to pay off debt.

The savings rate in the west is horrendous. "After the financial crash, the U.S. savings rate trended up from a low of 1.5 percent in 2005 (and not much higher in 2006-2007) to a high of 5.5 percent. In 2011, it declined to 4.2 percent and further in 2012 to 3.9 percent. The first quarter of 2013, the personal savings rate was at 2.6 percent."

You are correct that today's China can be comparable to some western countries. ****, people who make 100,000/year cannot buy a detached home in downtown Toronto without help from a partner.

I don't think high-salary society is always admirable. High salary means all goods and services are expensive. Sometimes you have to do some professional works all by yourself cause it's too expensive to hire others. The whole society welfare would definitely be eroded.

Here in China, we have a very convenient life. We can shop on net. We can book taxi by phone. We ask restaurant to deliver food to my house without paying tip. We can even hire others to clean my room at very good price.

higher salary is good. Canada's progressive tax system is terrible as it tries to balance low income earners with high income earners. Plus western people in general do not have Chinese mentality to save. They like to lavish on useless things.
