BEIJING, Jan 21 (Reuters) - China's purchases of U.S. agricultural products will not impact its imports from other countries, a commerce ministry official said on Tuesday.

China welcomes the entry of competitive U.S. products into its markets and hopes the United States could create conditions to facilitate exports to China, Li Xingqian told a news conference.

China will expand imports based on market conditions and in line with rules of the World Trade Organisation, Li added.

Beijing agreed to major purchases of U.S. farm products as part of an initial trade deal signed last week, but doubts remain over a number of issues.

You can try and brush it off as no big deal but I don’t think IdiotXi came out as a stronger leader after this.

Are you kidding me?

The so-called deal already say that it is subject to market condition to buy if any American products, and it is the US side to duty to fulfill the rightful market condition.

So guess what? it mean shit, but sure China want Dotard stay in power as long as possible, at least until the US collapse, so that's why this nothing deal in the first place

What's wrong with market conditions? It guarantees us the first round as a supplier. Need LNG, oil, wheat, etc. Well you pick us first at the going rate. Nobody said you have to pay double or something.

China agreed to purchase an additional $200 billion in U.S. goods over the next two years as part of the “phase one” trade deal.

The additional purchases will come on top of the 2017 U.S. export numbers.

The deal stipulates that Beijing will buy $77 billion in additional goods and services in 2020 and $123 billion in 2021 to meet the total $200 billion. China bought $186 billion of U.S. goods and services in 2017.

That Xitard bent over and took it for the team. We even keep the tariffs!

Plus this is only phase one.

Market conditions are there even before the trade war, so why couldn't the US gain higher percentage of market share in China to begin with?

Is that because China's "unfair trading policies"? even if this is the case, well, unfortunately the so-called trade agreement suggest it is the US's duty to change the conditions, and not China.

So realistically speaking these numbers can only be realized in Dotard's wet dream, and the number are only good for Dotard's re-election which is with China's best interests.

Why don't you buy your oil from all 13 OPEC countries instead of a few? The going rate is the same.

For instance that Xitard has to now put us on the list.

More of a wait and see approach since the deal is for two years and Trump may not win the 2020 election and the new democrat president might not want to piss off countries like Trump's American first.

Remember Bloomberg is a financial man..which China has recently agreed to open up. He isn't going to back off that "market rate" when it comes to Billions in services to offset things.

Bloomberg has been in China for a long time, a decade or more before your little trade war, I guess tomorrow's sunrise is the result of this trade deal as well according to you:rofl:

As for iran's oil, I ask my question again, exactly how much oil China is planned to import from you?

With 25% tariff still remain on soybeans, I doubt they can be offered at a "competitive price” for Chinese market, let alone other US product

All in all, a Trump's personal victory.

Bloomberg is jewish, thus not electable.
