China has opposed to putting pressure on Syria and stated that the unrest in the Arab country must be solved through dialogue and consultations.


"We (China) think the first thing to do is to ease tensions in Syria in order to avoid escalation," Xinhua news agency quoted Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu as saying at a news briefing in the capital Beijing on Wednesday.

Jiang noted that pressure simply offers no solution to the Syrian crisis, and the right approach to the unrest would be that the Syrian government implements its pledged reforms.

The U.N. says more than 2,200 people have died in nearly six months of protests. women children being tortured and civilians being slaughtered daily

Come on yaar you think west cares about human rights. In these stuations its always best if you leave it to the people of the country i admire china non interference policy. Its arguable if less libyans would have been killed if west hadnt got involved

We have all come to know you for what you are aryan B- why even pretend. you have lost all creditibility to be taken seriously when you have made ahmedinijad like statements here.

ahmedinijad is a victim of western propaganda and i dont buy it. You are allowed to your point view and i to mine. Lets look at libya. Prob 20% people supported the regime. Possibly 20% were against most people probably didnt give a damn. Most people want to live peacefully go to work come home etc. I accept that libyans regime was wrong to kill people to put rebellion down. But it was in reality a civil war. Now gadaffi would have prob killed a few thousand which is bad and wrong. Even one death is bad and sad. But i would say by west going in more people have been killed. And there is still civil war going on. The reason I say this is because when you rase human rights question where were human rights befor when americans and british were giving people to gadaffi to torture. They were complicit with him, If the revolution had genuine support of even 50% libyans gadaffi wouldnt have lasted 1 week never mind 6 months. Think about it if 50% of any country stand up to be counted what can security forces do-nothing.

well in the case of libya gadaffi didnt come bad overnight yet the west were in bed with him up to a year ago. Why dont you mention that. What about dictators in zimbabwe, saudi etc who do you believe western press regarding syria and n korea.

What about the daddy of baddies according to the west of Sadam. In the eighties west supported him against iran. Rumsfield and co were shaking hands etc and very cosy. But then he became evil because he wanted to do things west didnt approve of. Human rights if you want to apply those tests be consistentr, dont support human rights only when it happens to suit

UN, injustice at its best, how they are worried about 2,200 dead people in six months but never want to think over death of 1,20000 innocent lives in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Your fuzzy math, or your oracle ability to know how many in that country of Libya were against Gadhafi or your convenient love for murderous despots if only to be excused when it is Muslim on Muslim crimes?
