China offers sweet words as India send military delegation

Well between us there is more room up than down, give and take will be the flavor of today, tomorrow will be a new day and then it is wait and watch, so for now it is cheers and have fun.

chinese dont hate india is it the other way round, most of us dont even know we had a war with india in 1962.

The Chinese people dont hate Indians. And neither do the Indians hate the Chinese per se. Its the politics practiced by the respective governments thats hated by people on either side of the borders.

Same thing with Pakistanis and Pakistani govt(s).

ON topic: So the Army Officer from Arunachal Pradesh didnt go?

realistic views are appreciated

Who knows could change just like the UK and USA relations did. anything possible.

We don't hate Indians or your Government however it's other way around for Indians.

And you claim to speak for us Indians? If you havent noticed it yet, the criticisms are directed against your govt (or should I say, CPC) policies and the fallout of those policies - including influencing the population's thinking. Not to the people per se.

We don't hate Chinese people too.
For that matter we have nothing against Communist party . Your country, your decisions.

We simply do not respect you as a nation.
It's probably because you people consider Mao as a respectable leader when in reality he is only a mediocre politician turned into dictator cum habitual mass murderer.

it's all about perception.

Certainly not however CPC is still our government their policies have noting to do with India. noting wrong with influencing the population thinking we get to see how they see things. Chinese don't care about India or Indian government however it can't be said for Indians from the Indian Media and Indians on forums etc etc.

I'm fine with however that Most Chinese don't care if were respected by india or not, what does Mao have to do with this he is our founding father of PRC just as our other leaders Chinese can't have opinions we respect them ?

It's easy to understand what's wrong with having a founding father who was an extremist and a moron at best.

Founding fathers have a strange influence on the political discourse of a nation for as long as it lives. They set precedence for many policies that last decades if not centuries. As the founding father of PRC or CPC's supreme, Mao has made several of his decisions giving no regard for human life or dignity. His ways have made CPC into a cult and Chinese population a subject to CPC.

Now, A nation which tolerates a party that treats it's own people as mere subjects and subjects it to propaganda against the west to ingrain a false sense of enmity deserves no respect.

Slogans like 'stability of china for all it's problems, at any cost' might sound patriotic to you but are mere endorsement of open suppression of dissent and are quite scary for most people.

Opinions your free to have them. however many have different in opinions on him. Cult is a worship of something, we don't worship the system we feel OK with. Please tell me how it treats our like subject the fact ? it brought hundreds of millions out of poverty ? the fact it is becoming more and more open ?

Stability paves to political changes. Patriotic no ? again assumption ? majority of the people want stability rather then anarchy. No it's not scary only for you and those who have never lived in china. the prosperity of the people comes first.

what I find truly scary is knowing that my children have a 50/50 chance of being stunted by starvation.

what I find truly scary is knowing that if I was born in the wrong family, I could not even bicycle in high caste neighborhoods.

what I find truly scary is knowing that there is still human sacrifice in my society.

i find those things much more scary than a guy that died 40 years ago.

and this guy also made China's average lifespan 40 years ago equal to the Indian lifespan today.
