as if they were positive on punjabis,,,thats the fact of life in india.
mallus are probably pissed that we are more fair(no offence) and punjabis are probably pissed as mallus have better english skills and are more educated.

You should read Sanjay Baru's book on the time he spent with Manmohan Singh.

He talks about the power struggles in the civil service between Malayali Nairs, Telugu and Tamil Brahmins. Then you have the sardars, and various other castes.

To be Indian I guess it is acceptable to have multiple loyalties. Hell, even here in New Zealand a large chunk of Indians are Punjabis. Believe it or not, they did mock me for having dark skin. And then confused Kerala for Tamil Nadu.

Its a fact. The Chinese leadership have themselves stated this before themselves - that the media is making an issue out of a non issue deliberately.

They went so far as to insinuate that interested third parties(read US and West) are involved in the media(we have foreign share ownership on Indian media companies) making this, so that India is forced to take action and create animosity in general Indian minds against China.

Transgressing into our territory is not a useless issue. You can continue appeasing the Chinese mate but there are issues that need to be solved.
