come on... Does Dubai has a proper team? Does UAE has a team? does Kenya has a team? Does Ireland has a team?
Still they host international matches
Why can't china do the same? China now has their National team and might play a cricket world cup within next 4-8 years
They will have to qualify for the world cup by winning World Cup qualifying tournament held by the ICC. Who knows if they win next time? and if China has their national team also mean China has their cricket ground
You usually make grounds before having a national team. So definitely China has cricket grounds... but they are yet to gain International recognition and I don't think you are fool enough to underestimate china
Yes but what about their team? I was talking about National team when everbody was talking about Chinese team playing cricket. They don't have an Internationally recognized team. Above mentioned teams qualify for World cup by playing World cup qualifying tournament just like China will do in the futurer u sure about the bolded part,AFAIK UAE have 3 world class stadium's in Dubai,Sharjah and Abu Dhabi
Yes but how do they qualify for the World cup? Ireland officially qualified for the ODI status in 2009 (last year) still to gain recognition in Internatonal cricket. Still they play with minnows lke Canada, Bermuda, Kenya etc. Both Ireland and Kenya r present on ICC's ODI ranking's
But they don't have a proper Internationally recognized team proving my point onlyUAE also have a cricket team and i think they r ranked as the no1 or 2 at the associative member's ranking of Asia.
Yes they are lagging behind because they are new... but like i said before within next 4-8 years they may qualify for the world cup by beating the same UAE, Kenya, Bermuda, Canada teams?Where do China stands,no body no about the next 10 yrs,but at current stage playing the entire Pakistani season in China can b totally an overkill, anyway it's all upto PCB
pak should teach china how to play cricket. When china starts playing international cricket we can all see some flying catches like the stunts in jetly movies..And a indo china match will be very popular like indo pak math.
and I have a fear they may dominate cricket too

Sorry a disturbing image comes in my mind when i think of Chinese people playing cricket.

I do not know cricket, but I really like China and Pakistan to add more exchanges, I also hope cricket to popular in China, although it need more great publicity and time. Because cricket is still unfamiliar to most Chinese.
