Except the WS-10 series has nothing to do with the AL-31. It is of totally difference architecture.

Check the pics mate. You can clearly see the silver nozzles. That would be the WS-10G.

forget whether its WS-10G or AL-31``at the end day this bird is not going to use any russian engines... russian had 20 years R&D gap in its aero industries, within that time whereas china catching-up with fast pace, even still lag behind U.S and Europ but there is no significent gap between nowadays russia and china``
