China is the future.

It doesn't matter which country those technology comes from, as long as they are not widely used so far, they are still future technology, and here it talks about being widely used, China is the one which is always able to put new technology in real life to benefit millions, not just in a showcase.

To what scale? China is famous to put new technologies being used in large scales, highspeed railways and subway were not invened by China, but hundreds of millions people enjoy them here, smart phones and apps were not invented by China, but China now leads the world in those fields.

As if a high percentage of people's homes in China have a Smart Mirror or LCD doors?

How about Smart Speakers like Alexa and Google Home:

LOL! Read it again.
It doesn't say 51% of Chinese homes own a Smart Speaker. It says Chinese companies have a 51% share of Smart Speaker sales in Q1 2019.
Per capita wise Hong kong and Macau could have the highest, it's the whole market share and overtaking process that has been around for quite some time, it's just an answer for something you picked. US now is becoming conservative in trying new things while in China this trend is booming.
