surpised how flat roofed the traditional houses in tibet are. I am guessing it does not snow much there despite the altitude. Maybe a desert ?

New houses made of concrete don't need a pointed roof, only old wooden houses do.

What is the condition of LHOBA ethnic minority ( our ethnic cousins in China)?
Hope they are treated well. Tibetan in ancient times used to have an adversarial relationship with us.
