I didn't mention BeiJing or ShangHai 1st-teir big city in China, i said 2nd-teir cities like WuHan、NanJing、ChongQing、TianJing、HangZhou、NanChang etc, these middle cities developed better and better now, our photos of daily life to prove it.

Yes TaiWan indeed helped invest in China massively ... what they search in mainland is for cheaper labors & cost down, as the same reason now some of them moving to ASEAN for cheaper labors coz Chinese salary rise up.

Do not confuse me again ... i ever worked in FOXCONN(ShenZhen) for three years, SE for Acer PC projects ... i with my Chinese colleagues worked in Hardware and Software R&D departments, i clearly knew how TaiWan IT company worked in mainland of China ... without Chinese smart brains working in these TaiWan company, they'r NOTHING !

U think there'r all Taiwanese work in TaiWan high-tech company ? LOL ... Joke, bro ! Truth is all r Chinese engineers and Chinese skilled workers, only few Taiwannese as the manager ... Besides Chinese brains, the complete supply chain only produced in mainland of China.

After all if China had all that then why didn't you create your own foxconn, mediatek,TSMC etc? The only thing i can agree with u ... in microelectronics TaiWan is really ahead of China. Our mainland of China's microelectronic industry is s@ck, lack domesitc core-tech like "Made in China" CPU / Chipset, but TaiWan can design CPU and has mature nm-level semiconductor wafer production line, China just started since 2008 only mm-level semiconductor wafer.

As a engineer, i also knew what we really behind after TaiWan ... microelectronic industry is our weakness, the last problem compared with TaiWan is Chinese has a long way to develop our nm-level microelectronics.

Agree bro. But then again you can't blame China that much. Since many of us forget China just started getting into such field very recently after decades of isolation/sanctions during Mao's era. Its during these lost decades that china's eaat asian brothers/peers Japan, south Korea,, and Taiwan took a huge head start over China and developed by learning(and sometimes copying) from the west/U.S to get where they are today. China is simply following the same path (though its late to the game). China us indeed learning/catching up quite fast I must say, reason I'm optimistic China can match/catch up with its east Asian counterparts in coming decades.

Taiwan might be ahead in many sectors, but it won't remain that way forever. I was just saying you people should tone down the rhetoric of bashing Taiwan and saying they haven't achieved anything compared to their mainland brothers. As I always said, NEVER MAKE FUN/LOOK DOWN ON A COUNTRY THAT IS STILL MORE DEVELOPED/ADVANCED/AHEAD OF YOU. As far as I have made my point clear i don't care(well as far as the discussion/debate doesn't get personal with insults and badmouthing I'm OK, but when people start making personal attacks and making ridiculous claims which we all know is bullshit, then I just pull out/ignore that thread altogether. No time to waste arguing with some ultra nationalistic members on here, else you become same as them and before you know you start insulting/badmouthing people . I don't gave time for that. I like constructive debates where I can also learn things I don't yet know.

Ironically Funny thing is, as I said before, had there been no communism, and the Chinese nationalist party had ruled Chiba(without going through the civil war et al), then China would have been far more developed/advanced(no sanctions/isolation it went through), bigger geographically/landmass as there would have been no Taiwan, senkakus issues and they would have taken all the islands in SCS long ago being a victor in world war II. also china's neighbours would have had it far more worse, since its always easier for a democracy allied to our government's in the west to be aggressive/hegemonic, so there are many thing that would have been overlooked by us. That's what most people don't understand.
