WW2 was nothing but collateral damage. Actually, Japan got off easy. Since there was no invasion, their civilian casualties was relatively low. I think Truman made an excellent decision and saved a lot of American lives by nuking Japan.

Read up on Japanese plans to defend the island by arming every man woman and child, even with stakes, and realize those nukes did more to reduce civilian and military casualties on both sides than anything.

What racism? Truman prioritizing the lives of Americans over Japanese? He's an American president, and we were in a state of total war! While there was no doubt a racial component in the war on both sides, racism was not a factor in the decision to use nukes.

Auschwitz was towards the purpose of genocide of undesireables. Nukes were towards the purpose of ending the war ASAP. You clearly have not thought of the alternatives to the bombing, and it's clear the only other alternative being considered was invasion. You should have a general idea what the costs of that would have been on all sides. Both cities had military factories, were logistics centers, and were also crucial headquarters when it came to the invasion, so if Imperial Japan had not surrendered there would have been military value to the attacks.
