Iran has bigger fish to fry and more allies to support - oil rich Iraq, strategic Syria and Houthis in Yemen. Afghanistan and Gwadar are little fish.

Still don't see any threat to Gawadar from Chahbahar port. Gawadar is deep sea port can accommodate 60 to 70 ships, where Chahbahar has capacity of max 3 to 4 ships. Unfortunately, ourside of Baluchistan was also used to attack inside Iran.
But, recent BLA co-ordianated attack inside Iran and Pakistan security agencies gives different message.
Read this, we been betrayed and used by others, right under our nose foreign agencies used our soil to attack inside inside Iran.

That is the reason why we want to fence the border?? Or that is the reason why want fencing on the border with Iran and are doing it on the Afghan side and the Afghans don't want to.

The first incident of intrusion by Iranians in to Pakistan was when Iranian Pasadarans infiltrated into Karachi attacked a house of an Irani dissident who had escaped Iran and was awaiting processing as a refugee by UNHCR. This was back in 1981. The twelve Pasadarans were caught near the border and most of them were killed. There were other intrusions by revolutionary guards for assassination of pro Shah individuals in Quetta who had sought temporary refuge in Pakistan before being processed as refugees by UNHCR and sent out of the country.

Any port that feeds into an area that you are also trying to feed into, is your competitor. What is there not to understand?

What was the action/reaction by Iran when the RAW agent was caught red handed in Pakistan?

I don't think Iran is that straight a country as some of us like to portray. Same is the case with KSA. Both use proxies in our part of the world to fight their ideological battles.
