The Border Security Force has lodged
a strong protest with Pakistan
Rangers over ceasefire violation in
forward areas along the India-Pak
border in Samba sector in which one
Indian jawan was injured.
In the fourth ceasefire violation this
month, Pakistani troops opened fire
along Samba district of Jammu and
Kashmir on December 30, 2011
injuring the BSF jawan.
“We have lodged a strong protest with
Pakistan Rangers over firing and
ceasefire violation at a flag meeting on
International Border (IB) in Samba
sector yesterday,” a senior BSF officer
said.
“Pakistan Rangers denied their
involvement in firing during the
meeting when the BSF raised the issue
with them,” he said, adding “this is
their usual reply that they do not know
about the incident”.
A team of BSF officers led by the
Commandant of 82 Battalion S.C.
Yadav had held a flag meeting with
Pak Rangers led by Commander Lt.
Col. Raja Shahid at Khowara Post
along the IB in Samba district.
On December 22, 2011 Pakistani
troops had targeted Indian posts with
over 700 rounds of small arms fire to
give cover to a group of infiltrating
militants along the Line of Control in
Nangi Tikri-Krishna Gati area of
Poonch district.
On December 14, troops foiled an
infiltration bid by a group of militants
along the LoC in Tarkundi forest belt of
Bhimbergali sector in Poonch district.
Pakistanis troops indulged in small
arms fire and rocket attacks on Indian
Posts in Krishnagati sub-sector along
the LoC in Poonch district on
December 5, 2011. Pakistan troops
had also fired at Indian posts in
Kupwara district on December 4,
2011.

What is the purpose of these protests.
If BSF is hoping that such ceasefire violations would be downsized in any way due to these protests,
then they are hopelessly naive.

They are not naive. They are simply not allowed to retaliate by the cowardly and corrupt netas who want to gain cheap political mileage.

Give BSF enough power and see how they deal with the situation. I am thankful that none of our men were killed.

we don't have to escalate the situation to kill your soldiers nowadays. they are (though unfortunately) being killed on a regular basis.

From your post it looks like you don't consider CRPF and other paramilitary troops "indian soldiers". ;)

Or you do consider them "indian soldiers" but don't mind their death.

Today's news..1 Indian soldier injured. 3 pak soldiers killed.

Did it happen in clash with BSF?

How does it matter?

It does matter. We are talking about BSF and Pak ranger clash. Aren't we.

Will Soldiers dead in the hands of non-Indian groups have no value?

Obviously it has value. But then what if I started claiming every other day death of Indian troops at the hands of maoist a Pakistani achievement in some unrelated thread. That would be very dumb in my opinion. Your post was stupid. Grow up. :)

Right...before you start giving me lecture you must also see the post i have quoted. And BTW, there is no news of maiosts killing Indian soldiers "every other day". Moreover I didnot say the death of pak soldiers as an Indian achievement.

Does it change the fact your post was stupid?

Lol OK. They give two days break and then kill 5-6. Happy now?

Moreover I didnot say the death of pak soldiers as an Indian achievement.

Which further proves your post was childish. :)

I totally agree... there shall be more re-enforcement to the bharti army in Kashmir.
500K is not enough to face might of Pak army.

Bloody bharti politicians are reluctant to increase army's budget and are already threatening to cancel constitutional permissions like TADA, POTA & UAPA.

Apparently, Pakistan has not removed as many soldiers from bharti borders as was expected by launch of cold war.

IMO...giving a reality check is not stupid.

That was not a reality check. That was a display of low IQ. :D

It is more applicable to your country than mine.

Lol Looks like it's time to start updating that Indian insurgency problem thread again.

Oh...so if I claim if was an Indian achievement, will it make it mature? Weird logic!!

It shows that even though you can't call it an Indian achievement you are bringing it here. Shows how dumb and screwed posts of you guys are.
