Should Pakistan upgrade its Mirages to South African Cheetah standard if not Beyond?

I call bullshit
Someone is doing one to one replacement which makes no sense as x+3 or so number of M-III/V are needed to make sure one is available, not sure to the availability rate for F-7s in PAF service. With higher availability rate for JF-17s / J-10 the need drops for needed numbers.

That makes more sense as we had new squadrons that were stood up as JF-17s were inducted, like the Minhasians. PAF will see a decline in numbers as better aircraft are inducted. Still the issue is lead times. No new block 3s on the Kamra floor so ramp up will take time. Also I guess not much in cutbacks and haram khoori so it's not being prioritized.

Hi,

Contrary to that---the need increases for a higher number than before---.

Reason being---the anti aircraft systems are much more potent with a much higher kill ratio than before---and same with the air to air missiles---.

500 is the number for the Paf to deny air superiority to the indian air force---.
