Canadian living in 3rd tier city in China : Top 5 Things I LOVE about Living in CHINA

This guy mentioned several things he likes about China, in the very end of the video, he tellls us that top number one thing he loves about China is that everywhere he goes in China, cities big or small, he feels the uplifting, positive vibe filled in the environment, people are positive, uplifting and you can feel them anywhere you go in China.

But isn't China supposed to be a very oppressive society where people feel gloomy because they've been longing for freedom and democracy and the whole environment depressive based on the western media?

I have seen such videos only from western (white) people so far. Is this generosity limited to white skin foreigners or for all the foreigners?

I won't assume anything. I just want to know sincerely. I have been to China as well but it was very short and busy official visit.
I have been to china and i live among chinese. When interacting with white they like to prohect a very friendly and extra sensitive image like they think they understand their first world issues. But at the same time their attitude changes when interacting with indians however educated you may be. You can see the blushing and fawning the girls do when talking to them. Yoh can see the extra refinement amonthe the men when interacting with white skin. This is true especially of the older people. The younger people ? Well if they take their heads out from their mobile phones i can form an opinion.

I see Indians doing the same thing, when they speak to Whites, they try to control that annoying head turning and accent. They try to speak softer too...especially the girls. =). So you been to China, now you know India is a shithole right?

It depends. China is a shuttle in some ways too.

30 years passed and what happened in USSR and in China clearly proved everything. If those people won China may still live in a third world powerty stricken shhole comparing with India.
It's remarkable that a thirty year old vignette is all these people have. And the myths that have sprung up around it are hilarious: like the one that the protester was run over by a tank. Spoiler: he wasn't, he was moved out of the way by plainclothes police.

Meanwhile in Kashmir...
Freedom.:)

Yes, everybody know the reality of China and what happened there. People are made slave and made to think like what their dictators wanted. Even today China has the quota of execution to maintain fear in people. Those slaves either out of fear or to earn few cent does propaganda of dictator ruled slave China.
