Can Mongolia Shape the Modern World Once Again?

Mongolia can retell an old story with a new image – that of a 21st century state that upholds the rule of law, promotes tolerance, encourages international trade, and bridges diplomatic relations among divided nations.

It seems that the author's understanding of Mongolia does not exceed 1. The Mongol Empire neither tolerated nor obeyed the rule of law, nor encouraged and promoted international trade. Its only advantage is extreme ignorance and incompetence, so Europeans use the term Mongolian disease to describe mental retardation
