I don't think so.its a standard operating procedure..do you really want a live IED(actually,it was 55) around??plus,these are just crude socket bombs,which Police diffuse nearly regular basis.don't forget,every political party uses similar crude bombs...and one correction,it was destroyed by CID and not by Police.

It would be news to BDs that JMB has links to JI. JMB has long been banned in BD and it was banned by BNP-JI gov. Any way it seems the new BJP gov has taken Indian media propaganda to a whole new level. They r definitely up to something and want to use BD as a cannon fodder in whatever they r planning. BD has been promoted as an extremist outpost by India and AL for a long time , and given the myriad of threats to hold on power the illegal Hasina regime faces, "islamic" extremism may be the perfect bogey she needs to gets western support for her illegitimate regime. I don't know what Bangladeshi people would be thinking but I know on my gut feeling that if successful it could have given a big jolt to Indian Bangladeshi friendship. It could have been implied that as plan were made and resources recieved on Indian soil, India is supporting terrorists against a friendly government and country. Our bilateral relations would have nosedived as many want it to happen both domestic and international players. Indian agencies should hunt every terrorist or sympathizer without any second thought.
