What's new

Buddhist temple being erected in the place where there was Pillayar Hindu K

the article states that the allegedly hindu monument had been destroyed by war anyways; it was just rubble being removed.

you'll compare that to Gujrat??? really?

this conversation is over then, won't waste my time with some dot-head who can't even note the very fine distinction between the two

Sri Lanka has made Buddhism like an Abrahamic Religion!

Maybe We need to strip them off Buddhism!

That's because Sri Lanka is a Buddhist majority nation. You wanna strip them off Buddhism? lol...

By the way OP, religion-based threats aren't allowed on this forum.

Lankaenews is a website which make rumors! Buddhists aren't doing such things, to have a Buddhist temple there should be Buddhists around that area.

we don't have religious issues in Sri Lanka, You can see Tamils in major Buddhists festivals even they aren't Buddhists. Also you can see plenty of Sinhala buddhists who are visiting Tamils's hindu kovils!

Hindu and Zionist ideologies resamble...
Zionists claimed Arab lands because their ancestors were there some silly stupid centuries ago...
Hindus claiming temples because there WAS a Hindu temple during the last ice age.

well i wont support demolishing any existing worship place and replacing it with some other religions worship place..provided the existing worship place is inhabited.
But its daft to say that there was a temple here during flintstones' times and making fuss about somebody putting the place to use and building a worship place for themselves.
