BSF shot dead teenagers trying to exfilterate to Pakistan

AMRITSAR: Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead two teen aged boys in the wee hours of Friday while they were trying to illegally cross over to Pakistan from Indo-Pak international border near Amritsar.

The preliminary investigations suggests that both of them are Bangladeshi Muslims. Rupees five hundred and a watch have been recovered from one of them.

Giving details of the incident BSF inspector general (frontier) Himmat Singh told TOI that a patrolling party of BSF spotted some suspicious movements in a mustard field near BSF's Mullankot Border Outpost (BOP), about four and half kilometer north of Attari international border, at around 1 AM on Friday.

BSF jawan's challenged them to stop but they ignored the warning and instead ran towards the border fence and one of them even managed to cross the fence following which BSF opened fire and shot both of them dead said he.

A slip written in Bangla language had been recovered from them besides a watch and Rs 500 which makes BSF believe that the persons who were trying to exfilterate from India to Pakistan were Bangladeshi nationals said he while adding that further investigations were on progress.

He said many Bangladeshi nationals often illegally try to cross over to Pakistan in search of better living condition and work in a Muslim country or to live with their relatives largely settled in and around Karachi. Mostly these people fall pray to the human traffickers who brings them to Amritsar from Kolkota by train , take them near the international border , shows them the border fence and ask them to cross the fence at night , But they are either captured or shot dead if they ignore the BSF's warnings.

BSF is doing it's job. I hope these reports help in bringing a complete stop to illegal trafficking, especially on the Eastern borders.

I dont feel sorry for the boys because they were illegally crossing one of the most secured borders in the world, and did not stop despite being warned. They probably came into India illegally too, since they dont have any papers.

not the safest place to pass down. amigos.

paksitan and india border is one of the most sensitive area in world. they should have gone through air or i guess there is bus and train too,

although i would not condone shooting teenagers, and I feel sorry for the teenagers to die but I guess BSF did what it was supposed to do..

Bangladeshis will be having a field day in this thread. BSF is not even sparing bangladeshis in their western borders. You may survive in the east but you will shot dead in the west :sniper:

killers in uniform are loose all along indian borders.

Though I hate to admit but BSF is only doing it's job and that's to to secure india's borders, however they should use different method in stopping these illegals from crossing.

Btw Pakistan is in a very bad state in terms of economy and the average Pakistanis can bearly feed himself and family so I really dont see a reason for bengladeshis to illegaly cross into Pakistan, the last thing we need is more illegal immigrants taking Pakistani jobs.

BSF is doing their job..Kill the infiltrators

They gave them warning too but they ran one guy crossed the fence, but bullets are faster...

Good job BSF...Keep up ur good work

:blink: how can anyone cross the most dangerous and sensitive border that is International Indo-Pak border ?

Why their illegal trafficking all the way from Kolkota to Amritsar was not tracked?

RIP to Bangladeshi departed souls

Thank you for opening this in India defence sub-forum, saved lot of moaning and silly abuses getting hurled at Indians.

Well well,
Seems you guys will never stop posting pathetic comments (as I can see above). Anyways has anyone noticed this----

Mostly these people fall pray to the human traffickers who brings them to Amritsar from Kolkota by train , take them near the international border , shows them the border fence and ask them to cross the fence at night

So what happened to those traffickers, o I forgot the moment someone crosses the border they become illegal bangladeshis right?

Also another point being

A slip written in Bangla language had been recovered from them besides a watch and Rs 500 which makes BSF believe that the persons who were trying to exfilterate from India to Pakistan were Bangladeshi nationals

So a slip written in bengali makes them Bangladeshi isn't it, forgetting the fact that millions of Muslim lives in west bengal?

Wonderful......simply wonderful, I wonder how you would've felt if they were your relatives. :coffee:

Option for Bangladeshis -

1. Take valid visas while coming to India.
2. If option 1 not feasible , stay in your own country

BSF is doing the right thing ... what do illegal immigrants expect ... garlanded welcome , huh ?
