Names of the female could not be known yet

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has picked up five people, including three Rapid Action battalion (RAB) personnel, from Ashabari border under Brahmanpara upazila of Comilla district.

Of them, three RAB officials are Ridan Borua, Abdul majid, and sepoy Wahid. Names of the female RAB sources could not be known yet.

Brahmanpara police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahjahan Kabir said: “BSF men picked them up around 10:45am on Thursday. BSF officials confirmed us that they are now in their custody.”

I think india will try to invade bangladesh in future,if bangladesh remained with Pakistan in 1971 they would not have faced such humiliation like what they are facing today as indian army has no capability to face Pakistan army in this manner

According to the following news those officials were conducting a narcotics raid operation in a house which is close to border pillar 2059. Mistakenly they stepped into Indian territory that time BSF picked them up along with their sources.

I won’t be surprised if BSF is involved with those narcotics.

কুমিল্লার ব্রাহ্মণপাড়া উপজেলার আশাবাড়ি সীমান্ত থেকে তিন র‌্যাব সদস্য ও তাদের দুই সোর্সকে ধরে নিয়ে গেছে ভারতীয় সীমান্তরক্ষী বাহিনী (বিএসএফ)। বৃহস্পতিবার সকাল ৯টার দিকে উপজেলার আশাবাড়ি সীমান্তের ১০ নম্বর গেট এলাকা থেকে তাদের ধরে নিয়ে গেছে।

ধরে নিয়ে যাওয়া র‌্যাব সদস্যরা র‌্যাব-১১ এর কুমিল্লা সিপিসি-২ এর সদস্য বলে জানা গেছে। খবর পেয়ে র‌্যাব, বিজিবি ও পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে গেছে। কিন্তু এখনও এ বিষয়ে বিজিবি কিংবা র‌্যাবের আনুষ্ঠানিক কোনো বক্তব্য পাওয়া যায়নি।



তবে স্থানীয় সূত্র বলছে, সোর্সরা তিন র‌্যাব সদস্যকে নিয়ে মাদক উদ্ধার করতে সীমান্তের ২০৫৯ নম্বর পিলার সংলগ্ন একটি বাড়িতে যায়। এ সময় ভুলবশত সীমান্ত অতিক্রম করায় তাদের আটক করে নিয়ে গেছে বিএসএফ।

ব্রাহ্মণপাড়া থানা পুলিশের ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) শাহজাহান আলী বলেন, স্থানীয় ও র‌্যাবের পক্ষ থেকে এ বিষয়টি জেনে ঘটনাস্থলে এসেছি, কিন্তু এখনও বিস্তারিত কিছু জানি না।

কুমিল্লা জেলা পুলিশের বিশেষ শাখার পরিদর্শক (ডিআইও-১) মাহবুব মোর্শেদ জাগো নিউজকে বলেন, তিন র‌্যাব সদস্য ও দুই সোর্স আটক হওয়ার খবর জেনেছি। তাদের ফিরিয়ে আনতে কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যে পতাকা বৈঠক হওয়ার কথা রয়েছে।
