Hey buddy, the NATO is a military alliance. The BRICS is neither a military alliance like the NATO nor a political association like the EU. Most of the BRICS countries have little in common and close linkages between all 5 are not likely to occur in the near future. They have only taken steps to increase their political cooperation, mainly as a way of influencing the United States position on major trade accords etc.

i very well know thats the reason i used the word dream but hey nothing is impossible

Relax brother, keep your ultra nationalist feelings under control. India made mistakes in Kashmir. I'm not saying Kashmir doesn't belong to India but there is no smoke without fire. And God willing India will establish peace in Kashmir. But that's not the point here.
NATO doesn't fight wars because fighting is its passion. Nations fight wars to forward their self interest. Tomorrow, if any of of the BRICS become a superpower, they will fight wars as well.

I hope not - at least I hope India never goes to war.

yes it is indeed but you see nothing remains forever soviet came down some of the biggest empires have broken down what makes you think america will for ever be in that place it has to come down you see what goes up comes down

I hope the same but the hard truth is.........superpowers emerge out of wars. America emerged out of World war. Britain emerged out ot its colonial wars. Then they make political alliances to perpetuate their dominance. But no empire lives forever.

- what does turkey have to do to be a part of BRIC

- why choose SA and not Turkey

- what will turkey get out of joining BRIC, whil they be thrown uot of Nato

Asia is a big place. East Asia, Eurasia and South Asia are nothing alike, so we need 3 representatives of each. Africa and Americas are also very different.

Other conditions include: no participation in any alliances, indigenous military and supporting technologies, fast economic growth, control of at least 1 vital geographic chokepoint or resource (Brazil - Iron Ore/Soybeans/Ethanol. What is this ridiculous national obsession in India with being a superpower? I would rather India be a peaceful country who had no quibbles with its neighbors and had a high standard of living for its people - literacy, power, health care, water etc. i.e. be a country like Norway or Finland than be a superpower like America with its wars, defense budgets, poor healthcare and generally being reviled the world over.

EU is running by bunch of Islamophobia, i don't think they would accept Turkey as part of it.

They would rather take a legitimate European nation like Russia as their following member than accepting Turkey.
