Bombardier offers Bangladesh to sell 2 more Dash Q400 aircraft

Heavily subsidized by the Canadian government. They narrowly escaped US sanctions due anti competition behaviors.
Yes well Boeing also heavily subsidized! But they love to whine to block canadians gaining market share. Those sanctions were politically motivated by the orange clown's administration.

I know but it will dominate regional jet market. Even beating Embraer E series

With Airbus' marketing clout it may at some point. There will be a larger market-share but 'domination' might be a strong word.

Embraer E2 is being sold through Boeing re-branded, but we all know where that will go given recent ills at Boeing.

But Boeing has strong marketing inside US and Embraer's established service footprint with US regional airlines is humongous (SouthWest, Alaska and other smaller regional airlines like SkyWest). E2 as an aircraft is quite sound technically and is tailor made for eventual stretch and a larger engine. See profile with gullwing and a marketing visit and demo flight in Dhaka which shows off the lines of the new bird.

US Market will be a tough nut to crack for Airbus E220- but given a decade we will see some gains being made.

Actually, I have become fond of the look of Bombardier planes with its two propellers (?) though it is not a propeller-driven plane. Sometime in the past @Nilgiri explained something about this new kind of engine but with my tiny brain, I could not really understand all those mechanical complexes.

It just a turboprop. Think regular jet engine, but it drives a prop outside the engine.

Because these "damn companies" employ people who look for what aircraft airlines need to expand and stay profitable

Biman obviously doesn't have anything for its domestic short haul operations and Bombardier made an offer
How ironic when a damn comoany offers a country something instead of other way around... Tisk tisk

But, where the engines are placed if not just behind the propellers? Anyway, this prop and slim body with less number of seats make this plane attractive looking.

Engine is behind the propeller like you said. Its inside the long nacelle you see underneath the wing.

Thanks for the pictures. During my going to and coming back from BD I had transits in Kunming, Shanghai and one other smaller airport. All the tarmacs are filled with big, medium and small airplanes. I hope, someday Chinese companies will buy this fancy plane. By the way, Chinese airlines do not really give full-stomach foods during short journeys. It surprised me. Something like Nashta.
