I really don't know anyone who owns a BMW in Pakistan.
Rumour has it its a good addition to the roads of Pakistan thanks to our motorway generation.

Yes just like Ford Mustang and Porsche Cayenne as well as the Lada and Skoda.
Rumours.
You know about the Suzuki Mehran buying sense of Pakistanis.
The Mehran and Cultus account for about 60,000 new sales a year, and there are thriving second hand sales and service markets to support them.
And in few years others will match those figures.
BMW 2 will provide a good competition for Suzuki Mehran and local expertise will develop with new tools.
Why are you losing faith in the proven sensible Mehru?

nah, its pretty hard to do that. middle class will see more value in top of the line honda or toyota than bare mininum bmw. Infact BMW will be bought by the pretty rich ppl who will find 2 series below their standards.
may be good for ppl who aspire for bmw brand , other than that I doubt it will click. Unless every politician buys it as toy for their teenage children.
The bmw drives much better than any Toyota or Honda. I'll always favour power and handling over cup holders.
The 2 series is a two door car, which traditionally have never done well in Pakistan where four doors rule.
I hoped its not a diesel
I think they are planning to release the bottom feeder three cylinder gasoline engine base model to keep the price down. Other options will raise the price rapidly due to the taxation structure.
That can't be fuel efficient by any means.
