why photon travel so fast?

Basic laws of nature that rule our universe.

Measuring photons is a sort of misleading.

Radars measure photons. It is just that at those wavelengths its more convenient to describe the EM waves as waves.

I don't know enough about EM to comment too much.

What do you mean by energy? What is energy in this context?

Did you mean it gets absorbed by some material and increases the kinetic energy of electrons?

in more simpler terms Converts to heat

The trick would be to trap photons without absorbing them. Then figure out a way to use them much in the same way we use electrons.
