- Bush fatigue
- Novelty factor and good oratory
- Feed good factor ("I did my part in electing America's first black president")

The party's over and people realize POTUS is a serious job. I also agree the Repubs don't have any magic bullets either.

Exactly...So even though Obama approval rating has dropped he still has a very good chance to win bcoz so far there is not a worthy opponent who can challenge him...
