I have seen plenty of paddy fields in my own country, full of them. Need to see the rice terraces. But anyway, I might try Bali first and them explore rest of Indonesia, it's very close to Australia.

I think it is safe bro, the latest eruption of mount Barujari was in 1994, but it is still active. Mount Barujari is in the caldera of mount Rinjani.
