I think the OP purposefully left the most important geographical vulnerability in BD unguarded- their own chicken's neck comprising of the narrow Comilla-Feni tract leading to Chittagong sharing an extensive border with our NE states Tripura and Mizoram. Taking CHT and Chittagong will be a matter of hours for us and no air defense would help them if they incur our wrath.
As per the OP's post he said its a Crude Map not an exact AD cover. Unnecessary flame bait.
A crude map covering parts of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Assam whilst totally ignoring the ever looming threat of Myanmar bordering Chittagong! Was i wrong to point it out? I think people not familiar with the geo-politics of a region should do their basic research first, and not resort to call people 'dumbass' when suggestions are made or mistakes pointed out.As per the OP's post he said its a Crude Map not an exact AD cover. IMO, we should go for Turkish SAM systems post-2025.They're building a SAM family from low range to the likes of Siper with 120 KM range.

FN-16 seems to be manpad. The video clip below says BA will start producing these in the country.FN-16

Yes, layered air defense needs all types of SAMs of various ranges to ensure cover from enemy drones, cruise missiles.FN-16 seems to be manpad. The video clip below says BA will start producing these in the country.
You are completely wrong. The threat perception of our military generals has been correctly shown on the map. BD does not consider MM even a minimum threat. India minus your Assam & Tripura is. India has surrounded us with 300,000 troops since 2001.A crude map covering parts of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Assam whilst totally ignoring the ever looming threat of Myanmar bordering Chittagong! The bold part is very funny and self contradictory!! Tripura and Assam share more than two-thirds of India's border with Bangladesh in the NE, yet you don't consider it as a threat. So why afraid of the 300000(would like to know your source for it!) or so troops stationed here.India minus your Assam & Tripura is. India has surrounded us with 300,000 troops since 2001.

Tripura and at least western Assam are essentially ours. Our military has already implanted its agents there to secure its position. And, Tripura people already wished to join us in 1947. So, we do not worry about these Indian territories that can be neutralized with a single stroke of action. The bold part is very funny and self contradictory!! Yo man, i am finally starting to appreciate your insightful posts! But you are yet to explain about the presence of 300000 troops in NE..Tripura and at least western Assam are essentially ours. Our military has already implanted its agents there to secure its position. And, Tripura people already wished to join us in 1947. Arakan is also infested with our military commando groups gifted with Arakanese dialect and local culture. Now, ask yourself, why suddenly the AA (not Rohingya) troops have become so well-trained and are so eager to challenge that Burmese ragtag military. I guess, our Pahari Buddhist commandoes are there intermingling with the Rakhine Buddhists and are giving training to AA.

And wait for a few years. After Arakan our military will do the same in western Assam. However, there is one problem. The present govt does not want to radicalize the Muslims there. Do not you see, it is easy to assist the Buddhist Arakanese they do not radicalize our own border. So, I am not very sure what other methods our military has adopted in west Assam. But, things are moving under your nostrils.Yo man, i am finally starting to appreciate your insightful posts! But you are yet to explain about the presence of 300000 troops in NE..
One last point i would like to add, the solitary roadway connecting your Chittagong to the rest of Bangladesh is at a distance of 10 km from the Indian state of Tripura. Do ponder on it..
