The Delhi police are searching for a Bangladeshi who has been on the run for the past two years after it was found that he had
concealed his nationality to get a job in the Research and Analysis Wing, the country’s external intelligence agency.

Diwan Chand Mallick had worked with the agency for six years before disappearing in May 2005.
“We believe he may have run away with some vital documents pertaining to the agency. We tried to trace him but all our efforts failed,” a senior police officer, who did not want to be named, said.
“He was holding an extremely sensitive post and this is definitely dangerous as far as national interest is concerned.”
The officer said the
recruitment process of the agency goes through
several checks. “Any person who is recruited in R&AW has to undergo
verification at three levels. The first one is by the agency itself, secondly by the local police and then the Local Intelligence Unit.
It is baffling that his citizenship was not known even after that,” he said.
According to the police,
Mallick had suppressed
details about his family in the personal information questionnaire that he submitted for verification.“He had given his permanent address in 24 Paraganas,West Bengal,”said the officer.
K.K. Paul, commissioner of police, said he had no
information on the case.
A case of cheating and
forgery was registered at the Lodhi Colony police station on the basis of a complaint by a senior R&AW official on May 20,2005.
In December last year, the police filed a report in which they said Mallick could not be traced. But the case is still open for investigations.
According to a police officer, Mallick, aged 30-
something, joined the agency in 1999.
He went underground soon after the police case was
registered. “He used to live in Mayur Vihar area of east Delhi,” he said.

Although an old news, I have read about about it recently. If you'll notice, you'll see that he infiltrated in 1999, when BAL & Sheikh Hasina was in power.Perhaps SHW recognizes BD's threats more than we give her credit for. This also fills me with optimism that our military intelligence is more active & capable than we thought.
Those who might accuse of this news being fake, the source is a major Indian newspaper Hindustan Times.

I hope the boy is home safe.

With an intelligence agency like that.....the border security must literally be sleeping.

I Know For A Fact That There Are Some Pakistanis Are Working In RAW.I Can Tell The Whole Story

This guy was Hindu. Many Hindu Bangladeshis consider India to be their mata and look for opportunity there due to divine order. No conspiracy theories. This guy may have made some debacle and this news came to media. I wonder how many such people are operating inside BD. I know many Hindus were working to breakup Pakistan from from inside from day one, to make Akhand Bharat. Many in Army and politics. To make Akhand Bharat they need to disband BD as well.

With an intelligence agency like that.....the border security must literally be sleeping.
RAW is famous in only the imagination of people as if it is another CIA or FBI. This Bangladeshi Hindu man was a double agent. He was in the RAW pay role to spy on BD which RAW thought is possible because he migrated from BD and had good connections at the top political level in Dhaka.

He was recruited to dispatch false intelligence to Dhaka, but essentially he was sending real intelligence. On the other hand, he was falsifying BD intelligence data and feeding them to RAW purposefully. He was actually a DGFI implant in RAW. This guy is a real nationalist. I expect there are others like him working inside the RAW.

It's been 13 years since then, I hope he made it back.

Now, you can see how efficient is that stupid RAW that it cannot even find out the DGFI Agent after 13 years of search? Is RAW something to be fearful about? DGFI and ISI are much stronger in comparison. RAW or what, Indian law enforcement people with a bent back/waist and potbelly could not even stop the Bombay carnage. You can see it on YouTube.
