What's new

Bangladeshi born Omar Ishrak named Intel Corporation chairman

So what your grand parents used to or even now write in Passport as place of birth? British India?

No break away country use former name as place of birth. It is just old name become obsolete and starts of using new name.
I've seen lots of older Pakistanis use India as their place if birth on various applications where it is required.

Going by your logic, your founding father was British Indian. So is labelling QeA as a Pakistani a sign of inferiority complex?
He was a British Indian born Pakistani national known as founding father, without anydoubt.

There was once British India named after a river flowing in heart of today's Pakistan.

That's because a lot Pakistanis are Indians that migrated to Pakistan during the partition. So in essence India still exists and they were india e.g Mumbai

@Avicenna this is how Muslims in US should go up and eventually create an influence just like Bharti or Israelis.
Israeli ppl are in different class. Jewish ppl have track record of being successful any where they go. Indians have some smart ppl but most dont go to top. Just look at indian population and Israeli populations. Success of Jewish ppl are unparalleled. India has one sixth of humanity and if 20 of the 1.3 billion become ceo dont make them special.

- doesn't acknowledge he got humiliated about the Jinnah comment, moves on to the next point.

Hey, if I Google "where is Lahore" will it say "Lahore is in the former British Raj" ?
Of course not
So place of birth says "Lahore, Pakistan"
meaning, Lahore, which is in Pakistan now.
So once again, your argument is as ridiculous as your hatred for brown people.

Well Bengalis can write whatever makes them happy, but you can't write as place of your Birth which wasn't in existance back than.
It only shows insecurity complex.
Not true. I’ve seen many other figures who were for ex born in India... so in Wikipedia they mention it as born into British India present day (India/ Pakistan/ bd)
