Omar will replace Andy Bryant

Bangladeshi born businessman Dr Omar Ishrak has been named the chairman of Intel’s board of directors.

Omar has been serving in the Intel board since March 2017, a press release on Intel’s website said.

Omar will replace Andy Bryant, who plans to retire from Intel’s board in May.

He also has been serving as the chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic, medical technology giant since 2011. He will step down as the company CEO in April, according to various media reports.

Before that Omar worked at General Electric Co for 16 years, most recently as president and chief executive officer of GE Healthcare Systems, a division of GE Healthcare.

Apart from that, he is a member of the board of trustees of the Asia Society and the Minnesota Public Radio board of trustees.

Omar holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a PhD in electrical engineering from the University of London, King’s College.

Hey guys no biggie, misunderstandings can happen. Safi Qureshey sahab from Pakistan founded AST computer, one of the largest pioneer IBM 286 and 386 based computer brands along with two more partners. I believe he still lives in Orange County, South of the LA area and teaches at the local University, UCI. I have seen him many times in many LA area mosques. Humble gentleman and a role model for all Muslims in the LA area.

Mean while another Bangladeshi-origin young man, Sal Khan, founded Khan Academy which is a beacon of hope for education around the world.

The same way every Bangladeshi born before 1971 say they were born in Bangladesh as the term East Pakistan has become obsolete with the liberation and emergence of Bangladesh.

Well if you say to Sanghis you are older than a certain age, they won't give you a visa, because you were born in Pakistan.

If you have Pakistani stamp on your visa, that is also reason for Sanghis to deny you a visa. These idiots truly have $hit for brains.

Not that any sane people are too eager to visit Rapestan anyway....

Well Bengalis can write whatever makes them happy, but you can't write as place of your Birth which wasn't in existance back than.
It only shows insecurity complex.
