In 2009 power was actually improving. The real disaster stared actually from 2005. 2005-06 was actually death time. From 2007 ( During Fakhruddin regime ) it started to improve slightly with quick rental system from various generator owners.

Then in 2009 it not as bad as past days, actually lot lot better comparing 2005-2006 ( indeed 1 hour electricity and 1 hour loadsheding is much better that 2/3 hours loadsheding and 1 hour electricity outside Dhaka).
And now electricity is actually a magic. I don't know what is loadsheding from few years. Only if heavy storm occurs and electricity line is harmed then we suffer. But it last only 5/6 hours at the best. In 2005-06 even suffered 48+ house without electricity after storm.

That time PDB line men didn't work after 10 pm. Now 24 hours service available. In cruel summer sometimes electricity play more vital role than food.

As you may not suffer if you don't take meal 24 hours, but if there is hot 36 + degree and you have no electricity, you can't even eat in hot summer.

This is one of the main reason many non AL folks never considered BNP under Khaleda and Tareq as the alternative to AL.

Yes more or less same here. And also I have no allergy for other political parties except the terrorists ( BNP + jamat married couple ; jamat is husband here) led by Khaleda witch ( I pray may the witch rot in jail for life time) and Tareq chora orofe khamba baba.
