She said there is great support and cooperation from China in so many sectors, and that bilateral cooperation now ranges from infrastructure to industrial sectors, such as raw materials, machinery and equipment.

Statistics show that the two-way trade volume exceeded 7 billion U.S. dollars last year. Moni said that although Bangladesh's exports to China are increasing. she said there is no worry over the trade imbalance.
She said investment from China can offset the imbalance to some extent, and Bangladesh can add value to what it buys from China and then export it.
Moni kicked off the eight-day visit on June 15 and will meet with Vice President Xi Jinping as well as her counterpart Yang Jiechi on Wednesday.
Prior to the stop in Beijing, Moni also toured Xi'an, a city in northwest Shaanxi Province and Shanghai, the nation's financial hub.
Moni, who is on her second tour to China since assuming office, said China has achieved "tremendously" in development.
Bangladesh believes China can play a bigger role in the world, and also play a major role in restructuring the global financial layout and make reforms within the United Nations, she said.
Moni also summarized three key words that she wanted to convey to the Chinese people during the visit, "friendship, peace and harmony."
The bilateral friendship, which dates back to thousands of years ago, is beyond the economic scope, and the two countries share close cooperation and similar views on major issues, she said.
