Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has condemned the attack by Taliban militants on a school in Pakistan's Peshawar that has left at least 130 people, most of them children, dead.
Her Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil told bdnews24.com that she in a statement on Tuesday said, "People across the world are stunned and shocked by this barbaric and heinous massacre."

Shakil said the prime minister urged the people of the region to join hands to fight the fanatic communal force and international terrorism to avert recurrence of such crime against humanity.
She also prayed for the departed souls' peace and offered sympathy to the bereaved family members.
At least 130 people, most of them children, were killed earlier in the day after gunmen broke into a military-run high school in Peshawar and opened fire, witnesses said, in the bloodiest massacre Pakistan has seen for years, reported Reuters.
Officials said 122 people were also wounded.
More than eight hours after militants entered the school compound, the military declared the operation to flush them out over, and said that all nine insurgents had been killed.
The Taliban, waging war against that country in order to topple the government and set up an Islamic state, immediately claimed responsibility for the attack.
