Who is Ahmad Hasan Imran actually? According to External affairs Ministry report, this man came to India from Srihatta, Bangladesh in 1970-71 and stayed in Dhuburi, Assam. Then he moved to Dhupguri, West Bengal. In 1975, he formed West Bengal Muslim Students Association.

On 24th April,1977 a Islamic Conference was arranged in AMU. In this conference SIMI was formed and Imran was selected as the chairperson from WB. He was a senior official in Islamic Development Bank,Zeddah where managing director Mamul Al Azam is the son of Golam Azam, founder of JeI in Bangladesh.He was selected as an MP in Rajya Sabha by TMC supremo in 2014. According to Bangladeshi Intelligence report a huge sum of money had been send to Jamat via ambulance to the Indo-Bangladeshi border. It is also being said that her staunch opposition to Teesta deal and LBA has close relation to her association with JeI.

Imran had direct link with JeI leaders like Matiur Rehman Nizami, Dilawar Hossain Sayidi, Al Mujahid, Mir Kashem Ali etc, of which a number of leaders have been convicted for 71' war crime. And Mamata sends this man to Parliament of India.

DRAY, two allegations, her alleged economic and other support to Jamat and the plan to send Sudipto Sen and Co to AJK, if proved are going to put her into seriously troubled water. I am surprised that these things were happening under her nose and she had no clue about it!!

She is the ONE & ONLY leader in TMC and she had all the clue of everything that was happening, nothing happens in TMC without her knowledge & approval. She was simply trying to consolidate "Muslim Votebank", which is significant in Bengal. It's just that she is not intelligent enough to do it in a subtle manner, and not sensible enough to know where to draw the line.

Just after I posted my last post here, I was talking with the tea-shop owner near my old office, she is a middle-aged lady who fled from Khulna in Bangladesh 8-10 years ago with her husband and three children due to persecution and now settled here. She was saying that many Bangladeshis (she said they are all criminals who fled from Bangladesh) are coming to her village and nearby areas in last couple of years and getting voter ID & Ration cards with the help of local TMC netas, she mentioned some names also which I am not mentioning here. She also told me that son of a Bangladeshi who is accused of killing Mujibar Rahman is settled in Basirhat now and he is a very influential leader of TMC there!! She also said that TMC has introduced some scholarship for school students and Hindu students get Rs.1000 and Muslim students get Rs.2500!! I don't know what scholarship it is but she was quite upset about the discrimination.

All these are being done to garner Muslim votes, but the side-effect is further polarization of Bengal's politics on communal lines. Nobody has done more damage to Bengal than this one, in every possible way.

This would effect WB in the long run because of this lady and the seeds she had sown. Its kind of hard to understand why Indian Intellegence agencies hasn't done anything about it yet. Its impossible that they may not be knowing abt anything as such coming in the media. Maybe we are being TOO tolerant to such people across the country.

I think Intel knew everything. We condemn them to be incompetent but they knew all but remained silent due to political pressure. Last UPA government did not know anything, it is hard to believe isn't?Asim Dasgupta, Damayanti Sen, Nazrul Islam wrote so many letters to the CBI and other organisations like SEBI and RBI. These orgs just preferred to remain silent because MB would have been a very useful ally if Congress bagged around 120 seats in LS election.

Its not a big deal for agencies for sure,even a ordinary person can know abt such thing with normal intraction with people around you. It just that at the end of the day some Vampiers have to make the call. Don't know if SC has any powers or not to set up an team and investigate such matters all by itself if the govt fails to do so,n if it does have some powers,then the least i can say is i m pissed. I have read such an article few days ago aswell,which said tht some of it was planned by CIA to oust hasina,dont if was jus a conspiracy theory.

Just a gentle reminder to all who think Muslim votes are must for a party to win, you are grossly mistaken. There are few districts in Bengal where these "seculars" are more than 50% and this infact drives the average to 28-30%.

If Hindu mobilization does take place ( though I am sure Bengalis will ensure win for TMC for at least two more times ), we may see the game getting a bit interesting.

Communists were better than this crazy lady, but she has done some good for kolkata too... last time I was there, a taxi driver told me, now the police is more strict with traffic violations(he was bitching about mamta of course)
