What's new

Bangladesh: March in solidarity with Kashmir

Disaster.

New leadership needed.

Different from the two old ladies or their offspring.
True, but I don't expect it.

I assure you, Joy will never be accepted as a PM.He'll be seen as a foreigner as he has spent most of his life outside Bangladesh. And he's not even half the politician his mother is.
Let alone the people, even the BAL leaders will not accept him probably if Hasina isn't around.
The fact that he has an MA in public administration from Harvard I think would accept him among most of BAL leaders. Bangladesh is still a young country so I don't see it removing the chains of political nepotism yet.

Political divide is the "fitna" that the devil spreads between the Ummah of Nabi Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam. It is meant to keep us from becoming the force that fights in the way of Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah. It is Islam that unites us, it is our love and affection for our beloved Prophet, Sallallahu Alaihi Wassallam that gives us strength and power. The fools who tell you that there is no Ummah, are what they are, fools!

From the hearts of true Muslims in Pakistan, and our Kashmiri Muslim brothers and sisters, we pray for the betterment and success of our Bangladeshi Muslim brothers and sisters, as well as all our Muslim brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters around the world.

May Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah grant us the strength of Imaan to fight to preserve the practice of the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam, Ameen!
Ameen brother!
Nationalism, along with political & sectarian divide, will be the death of Ummah if we don't beaware of this trap.
We should be Muslims first & foremost before we're Bangladeshi, Pakistani,Iranian, Arab or African or anything else.We must leave the past in the past.We must be united as one in Islamic brotherhood as Prophet (Peace be upon him) & Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala has instructed us.

True, but I don't expect it.

Do you really believe Bangladeshi political leaders care about his Harvard degree in Public Administration xD? No offense intended but it's kinda funny.
There will be power struggles after Hasina, yes. However, Sheikh family's hold on power will end as soon as Hasina is gone.

Not so much as care but would use to legitimize his succession as leader along with his bloodline. Anyway, this isn't something I wish to argue about as it's just from my cynical mindset on the future. The ideal way is for some new leadership, that's for the best.

She has put her beloved and trusted people everywhere and on top of that she has RAB which she is using as force against opposition.
She would made sure that it's dynasty same like that is syria. Her father tried same and end up somewhere else.

Alivardi Khan also put his trusted people on positions of power.Look where that got his grandson. Sheikh Mujib also put people close to him on power. But they were the one who betrayed him in the end.
Say whatever you will about Hasina. But she's pragmatic. She knows there's no way Joy will be able to hold onto power. That's why you never see Joy in any meaningful posts in BAL.Also,I'm sure she doesn't want the rest of her family to meet the same fate of 15th August.Virtually all of the Sheikh family lives in foreign countries.
Those who do live in BD, except Hasina, none of then has any political clout or backing in BAL to make a play for power.Leaders like Obaidul Qader are more of a possibility. This is my observation as someone who lives in Bangladesh & has relatives in the political circle.

If Joy provides surety to Bharat for acting as being not present in neighbourhood,he would rule.
There are loyal people to AL and than there are one who are to Bharat.

You give too much credit to India.Surety to India isn't a guaranty of his stay in power. If it was, I'm sure Sheikh Mujib would have ruled for more than 4 years.
The people loyal to Bharat is miniscule.Even if Indians would like you to believe otherwise.
What makes it seem like they're many is because they're very vocal, surrounds Hasina & compared to their numbers, well represented in the government.

Sheikh died due to coup by Pakistani trained officers.
Bharat has huge clout over Bd for sure. You have seen past sham election, through which AL came to power.

Sardar Haji Zadeh, commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps: We are not only responsible for Iran. When we become strong, Muslims in Kashmir, Nigeria and elsewhere will do better.
How Iran or all the Muslim countries together will become strong without first developing its industrial and manufacturing might with the infusion of technologies that are already available in the West and with new self-researched ones?

Selling oil or underwears and buying a few weapons from the non-Muslim countries will not give these countries any extra mileage. Muslim countries should go back a few steps and learn the western industrial technologies before they can dream of equality with the West to challenge it.

A big Dhamki from Iran is like a poisonless cobra raising up its hood to bite. No country gives a damn. A Dhamki is not an Aladin's lamp that will produce those being produced in the West, Russia, Japan or China. Why should the Muslims keep on talking big that has been continuing for the last few centuries?

Bharat has clout over BAL & Hasina. Not the whole of BD.Virtually all of the common people, especially the young generation are anti-India & disgusted with Hasina's subservient attitude towards India.I live here & I interact with these people everyday. So, you can take my word for it.
After Hasina is gone, I believe you'll see India's influence over BD lessening gradually.
Sham elections and the fact that BNP is disliked more because of it's corruption, tyranny & treating BD like their kingdom is the reason Hasina is still in power.

we are on right track you can see how strong we have become you are powerful when you understand you do not need to build the weapons that they build you need a good long term stage which we have but i agree we need to be more powerful lay low from oil and build more military industries

Soul of Bangladesh is muslim. There is no Bangladeshi that does not support Kashmiri independence from indian occupation.

BAL retarded pronouncements is hollow....even they do not believe.

Our ancestor fought for muslim sovereignty.....that fire burns as brightly as it has always has.

Incrementally BD will rise economically and militarily. Indian hedgemon has not been achieved and will never be achieved as long as 145m bangladeshi muslims breathes.

Bangladesh and Pakistani acrimony is between family and is only cosmetic. India will try to exploit it and will continue to fail.

True, but I don't expect it.

Neopotism will not continue beyond the two ladies....
BNP is gone....after hasina her family wont control BAL..... Joy has zero credibility....hasinas sisters son had a chance but has been relegated.

Next leader of BD will come from one of the heads of business conglomerate.
