Bangladesh invites Pakistani investment in export industries

Bros this is as good a sign as any that AL government wants to better relations with Pakistan.
Imran Khan probably is a significant factor in this along with craziness being shown by the Hinduvtas.

We need to forget about past transgressions against each other and work on the protection and prosperity of all S Asian Muslims. We are the two independent Muslim countries of S Asia and are responsible for the welfare of all S Asian Muslims.

Pakistani textile firms are keenly setting-up production units in Bangladesh due to availability of better infrastructure, economical utility prices and attractive tax incentives.

Indian PM Modi Strangely Inspired By The Failures Of Pakistan Army In 1965, 99 Wars – Experts

According to Express Tribune – “Businessmen from Pakistan have expressed keen interest in investing in Bangladesh. In fact, a Pakistani entity is about to make a historic investment in Bangladesh,” revealed Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Noor-e-Helal Saifur Rahman.

Speaking at a seminar titled “Talking Bangladesh Where Export and Investment Grow Better” on Tuesday, Ramham stated that Soorty Enterprises invested $35 million by setting up a factory in Bangladesh more than five years ago. “The firm now employs 6,000 Bangladeshis,” he added.

“A new group, which we are not disclosing right now, is going to make an even bigger investment,” he said on the sidelines of the seminar.

Giving a presentation, he said Bangladesh had planned to develop 100 economic zones nationwide over the next 15 years, which would create 10 million jobs and produce export-oriented goods worth $40 billion.

Rahman emphasised that Bangladesh had excellent macroeconomic stability characterised by a high growth rate of 8.13% recorded in 2018 and a satisfactory level of public debt. “It is an open and diverse economy with very cheap labour, almost three times cheaper than Pakistan,” he said. “The country has a strategic geographical position as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region.”

He added that Bangladesh also enjoyed a strategic and competitive position in the value chain of the global economy and an economic and legislative environment favourable for business.

I would also request @Slav Defence to take a look here if he is still interested about the fact . Once I said the same in another thread few months ago . AL Pakistan good relationship is obvious , just it may take 1/2 years . I wish the day is closer now, because the process already started !

Hasina is probably sold out. Bangladesh won't reciprocate to Pakistan under Hasina. India won't let that happen and we know how much Hasina is close to India

The opposite is true. Wait, soon you too will realize. Hasina is the best candidate for the warm relationship with Pakistan if Pakistan behave appropriately with her instead of favoring her opponents. Sheikh Mujib also had war relationship with Pakistan, if you didn't forget his regime when Pakistan recognize Bangladesh for the first time!

Khaleda Zia only used Pakistan and Muslim ummah sentiment for her political benefits, it's time for you guys to understand this fact.

@UKBengali, @Bilal9 your opinion will be crucial Iin this matter MHO!

Hasina is deep down a BD nationalist like her father.
She is also very pragmatic and that is why she is friendly with India.
She does not trust India if only for geopolitical reasons but has some sort of good sentiments towards them for helping BD and her family during 1971.
She clearly deeply dislikes the present Hinduvta nationalism of the BJP and can see that this is a big threat to all Muslims of S Asia.
She has offered her hand of co-operation and now it is up to Pakistan to reciprocate.

Exactly . Thankfully our people are accepting this fact day by day .Look at VP Nur who is too much against AL , yet he not only respect Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujib very much ( natural as he is our founding father and all patriots like him ), and also it looks he does not have any issue with Hasina . He already called her like a mother . I think lots of people.in Bangladesh losing faith on AL , but gaining more faith on Hasina herself .

Yes , and their is no reason to enmity with India if they do not show enmity overtly . It's obvious . Why should we show enmity with anyone if they are not directly doing so .

Exactly.

This is her only problem like many other Bangladeshis . India helped us only to break Pakistan . If india is really helpful , they should help liberating Rohingyas . They are victim too ,and perhaps in a greater degree. As always I every singe time believe that India came last time to burgle our glory . Did India win in 1965 ? They did not win because common folks ( of East Pakistan) were Pakistani that time . Without the help of common folks no win is possible completely . So it's clear that they came to burgle our glory ( glory of our freedom fighters) . Our opinion can be different in this case though . But I honestly do not recognize any military help from India . They fed few Bangladeshis for few days though , before westerns started providing support . So yes this is a help for sure , i only recognize this help as Indian help .

She has offered her hand of co-operation and now it is up to Pakistan to reciprocate.
This is the crucial point . Pakistan must have to stop blindly favoring her opponents . It's need two to make a quarrel. What Pakistan will sow , so shall they reap . Be warm and truly friendly with Haisna , Hasina will also favor them in return. One sided blame game is not useful , at least not when Hasina became a sign board of prosperous Bangladesh. So real friends of Bangladesh must keep the best relationship with her !

The sooner Bangladesh and AL understands the fact that Pakistan has no interests in destabilizing Bangladesh the better for our relations.

TBH, Bangladesh and AL always understand it. AL only used anti Pakistan rhetoric politically and that is on heavy decline because BNP is destroyed.

It's me who told it for the first time and also several times, you either missed or forgot. And also said that AL and Pakistan is going to be closer, still saying that the days are not too far! Just wait and see.

And I also suggest everyone to be analytic about the current conditions. What you see with bare eyes are mostly not the reality!
