Bangladesh Coast Guard Starts Construction Of It's Own Dockyard And New Base

The ground breaking ceremony of Bangladesh Coast Guard Dockyard and Base’s administrative building and officers’ mess was held at Gazaria and Munshiganj.

The foundation stone of the administrative building and officers mess was laid on Thursday (December 24) morning.

Director General of Bangladesh Coast Guard Rear Admiral M Ashraful Haq was present as the Chief Guest at the ground breaking ceremony.

Also present on the occasion were senior officials of Bangladesh Coast Guard and local dignitaries.

Trees were planted by the Director General of Bangladesh Coast Guard and other officials on the occasion.

The construction of these buildings by the Bangladesh Coast Guard will further enhance law and order, public safety as well as anti-piracy, anti-robbery and anti-narcotics activities in the area.

The construction will be completed by June, 2021.

But I still don't think Australia has a coast guard. Maybe they have a boat. But not at the coast guard level.
