Ayyan’s bail plea accepted for hearing

Rawalpindi - A banking court on Monday extended the judicial remand of famous model, singer and actress Ayyan Ali in money smuggling case.
Meanwhile, the court issued notices to customs investigators after Ayyan Ali’s lawyer filed her bail plea before the court.
According to details, Baking Court Judge Sabir Sultan held proceedings in the case.
The customs officials requested the court to extend the judicial remand of the model.
The court, while accepting the plea of Customs department, extended her judicial remand.
The lawyer of Ayyan Ali, while arguing before the court, said that customs investigators were consistently making delay in submitting the charge-sheet.
The court snubbed the customs investigators and ordered them to file complete charge-sheet.
A bail plea was also filed by the lawyers of Ayyan which was accepted for hearing.
The judge issued notices to customs department to produce case record on May 25, the next date of hearing.
The court also arranged meeting of Ayyan Ali with her lawyers that lasted for 30 minutes.
Earlier, Ayyan arrived in the court amid tight security.
