jamahir, sahib, when I post elsewhere, because of my two flags (I think), my words and sentiments are inevitably maligned, instead of being rebutted logically, factually and without rancor. Hence, I post less because I am not interested in trolling. Except, I do admit that I love to troll fundamentalist Iranians.

That is unfortunate. Though PDF is a good platform, the very nature of it ( nationalism / defense ) makes people ( many if not most ) to hold onto ultranationalist sentiments.

Though I will still ask you to post.

I have also noticed in my brief stay on this forum that some people can be too nationalistic and lose objectivity/Act rudely to other people who are being civil.

But there are more people who are objective and are nice to everyone, I really like that there are experts here to answer questions.

I am a 74 year old American, born in Virginia to parents with German ancestry (mother) and Scottish ancestry (father). My Mother's family immigrated from Germany in the 1840's and were farming (no slaves) in central Virginia when the US civil war broke out. My great great grandfather was put in jail in Fredericksburg, VA by the Union Army for providing supplies to Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia. My father's family immigrated from Scotland to Missouri in the 1870's. I am a retired PHD physicist whose career was mostly at Xerox developing electronic printing technologies, especially inkjet printing.
