Are you one of those Eye eye Tee sapiosexuals who are always worried about what American Quora girls think about them. It's now a tradiiton for MIT's Dr. Walter Levin to bless Indian students heading to take the JEE.
It's become a big 'good luck' tradition for the test takers nowadays.

TBH, we simply donot have adequate high quality universities. When thousands of students fight for few available seats it does no good for the students as well for the country, and unnecessarily put students in high pressure exam. Even the good students make mistake in once in a year exam.BTW_ I don't think this is the toughest Indian exam, that distinction goes to UPSC.

I dont know man. Sometime it feels Indian system is tough on students and doesn't allows for creativity. Tries to force feed what it thinks is absolutely necessary. But then people also get admitted in engineering/medicine even if they no interest because it guarantees social security of some sort.I'm not so sure dude. What we're obsessed with is competition and that is good. That is the base. The rest will come automatically, eventually. I don't see a point in having a 'high quality uni' like Harvard where it's not just your merit but wealth, family etc. that count. Thy mix SAT results with 'personality assesment papers' which are not related to merit.
A person can lose Yale for not having money to study there but not at IIT that much. I think this system is good for us.
Well it is tough so the whole town shows up to help the students !![]()

That's true .At the end of the day, both Indians and Chinese put a premium on Science and Maths - and education in general. There's a lot we, in Pakistan, can learn from it. Both these countries have done one hell of a job with their respective education systems and are reaping dividends for it.
