Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has condemned a terror attack in India that killed 44 police officers on a bus in the Kashmir region.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has condemned a "heinous" terror attack that killed 44 people in an Indian police convoy.

The Pakistan-based Islamist militant group Jaish-e-Mohammad claimed responsibility for Thursday's attack in Kashmir, where a suicide bomber rammed a car into a police bus.

"We convey our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, and all those injured. Our thoughts are with my friend Prime Minister @narendramodi and the Indian people," Mr Morrison tweeted on Friday.

Invalid argument. Kashmir is not a part of India under international law. Nor are the Kashmiri Freedom Fighters terrorists... And there are many reports by the UN and other reputed international bodies on grass human rights violations being carried out by Indian Army in Occupied Kashmir. It's no 'conspiracy theory'... Most of the countries deliberately ignore these facts for reasons already mentioned.
